Eto na po yung mga naisulat kong notes ko during the Honda Safety
Riding Seminar nung isang araw. Pasensya na po kayo medyo maikli
lang ito kase medyo mabilis yung paglipat from another topic to
another dun sa LCD/monitor nila kaya hindi ko nakopya yung iba.
And there are topics naman na puro graphics and pictures yung mga
pinapakita kaya eto lang po ang mga nakalap ko...
Attitude and Mindset when Driving
1. Couteous
2. Considerate
3. Control of Speed
4. Modest Risk Taking
5. Patient
Consequences of Accidents
1. Time - abala sa oras
2. Money - syempre dagdag gastos din
3. Physical and Mental Aspects
4. Live - at ang pinakamatindi, ang buhay natin..
Eto naman daw ang 6 na factors na nakaka-affect sa pagda-drive
natin. They called this as IM SAFE..
Ilness - affects information processing capabilities
Mental Stress - affects concentration
Sleep - affects alertness
Alcohol - impairs your mental capabilities
Fatigue - poor judgement of distance
Emotion - like heart broken, family problem, financial
problems, work concerns, etc..
Following Distance
A. The 2 Sec. Rule
B. 4 Seconds Rule - when on wet road/poor visibility due to rain
7 Ways of Proper Riding
1. Look Straight
2. Elbow Slight Bend
3. Wrist forming 120 degress
4. Knee Grip
5. Shoulder Relax
6. Sit closed to the tank
7. Feet pointing straight ahead
Eto para sa mahilig magbangking dyan..
Proper Leaning (hindi raw bangking)
Lean out - eto ang gagawin during sharp bend at low speed.
In tagalog, pasalungat yung katawan sa motor.
Lean in - eto naman gagawin during sharp bend at high
speed. A good example ng ganitong galaw is yung style ni Sir CJ.
Panoorin nyo sya magbangking kapag nasa bend, naka lean-in sya..
In tagalog, mas naka-lean ka pa sa motor. Madalas tong
ginagawa ng mga nangangarera...
Eto pa konteng na-take down ko...
* 90% of traffic accident is due to human error. (so walang kinalaman ang modification dito..)
* Passenger must always face at the right side. (para toh sa
laging may mga backide dyan gaya ko.. )
And last one,
* Up to 80% of accidents are caused by POOR sighting skills..
So to avoid this one, eto tip nila.. The distance (in meters)
must be 3x the speed (kph). Ibig sabihin, if you're running at
20kph, i-multiply mo yun sa 3, so 20x3 = 60. So kung 20kph ang
takbo mo, dapat ang tingin mo sa kalsada is 60 meters away. Eh
pano kung 130kph na ang takbo mo, do you think you can still see
390meters away from you? Think about it...
Hope may natutunan po kayo sa munti kong nai-take down. Ride safe
po tayong lahat...
